From the Uforia Boats website:
“UFORIA is a family owned maintenance facility and boat yard. They have been building boats for over 6 years for local commercial use and sports fishing. Gerardo and his dad, Juan Saade have a combined experience of over 30 years fishing, having fished several tournaments around Latin America, winning the annual El Salvador Billfish Tournament in 2009 and many others in the area. All fiberglass is hand laid, built and designed for fishing without the hassle and expense of other similar boats, but tough and extremely capable. The facility is located in San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America.
TECHNOLOGY: Panga is a proven, extremely capable design with over 50 years of commercial use. It is a very popular design used widely in Central America and the Caribbean for fishing 150 miles offshore for 4 days at a time. UFORIA Marine created a fusion between this capable design with new building methods of all fiberglass and composite, making it tough, durable and unsinkable.
DESIGN: The narrow beam allows the boat to cut through the waves and run proficiently allowing for a fuel efficiency of up to 9 miles per gallon at cruise. This makes for a highly dependable, long haul capable fishing platform for the avid angler. The V-Shaped bow and the flat bottom aft with a draft of only 5”, allows for a versatile fishing machine that lets anglers cast in shallow backwaters and search for game fish offshore.”
